Alien Invasion in MODHAUS
A Short Puzzle Story Game
Oh no! While Hayeon was rehearsing her choreography for the Rolex performance, she heard weird noises outside the practice room door and decided to follow it. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw a green alien sneaking around the recording room trying to find comeback leaks.
"Stop right there!" she said, but the creature was too fast and hid somewhere in the company's building. She met up with Seoyeon, Dahyun, Joobin, Sullin, and Seoah, who have also seen the fleeing alien. However, during each of their individual encounters, the alien has put them under a spell in which they were unable to speak normally about its hiding place. The girls can only give clues and only when combined will reveal the location. With her determination to stop the possibility of leaks, she seeks to get to the bottom of the incident by solving the clues that the other girls have given her and find where the alien is hiding.
Hayeon met up with Seoyeon who have bumped into the creature first. She says, "Voting token has small application (5)."Hayeon is confused, "Is she skeptical of the voting system?"
The alien passed by Dahyun after Seoah. Dahyun grabbed Hayeon's shoulder and looked intently into her eyes, "Translate Seoah's other name for VV's pastry (6)" she says.Weirded out but not exactly unexpected of Dahyun, Hayeon moved towards the next member.
Joobin with her alarmed/concerned face, "Shion unnie's food hidden in fibre additives (5)" is what she says while pointing to Seoyeon and then to herself."Wow, this girl really needs to stop being so obsessed with Shion. She should be obsessed with me instead", says Hayeon to herself.
Sullin was the last of the girls to see the alien. "My emoji from small present bro! (7)" she says."Huh? I never got a present from you yet though?", Hayeon is becoming more and more confused with each member she meets. With that, she went to the one last member.
Despite Seoah not looking sleepy after following her Joobin unnie, she says "Do not wake, otherwise kicks and punches (9)."Hayeon sighs before saying "Kids these days..."
This is a puzzle game that uses cryptic crossword rules in order to be solved.A clue has two parts, (a) definition & (b) wordplay(a) Definition - is the answer to the clue, can be found either at the front or back of the clue.
(b) Wordplay - guides you to what to do with the clue.At the end of each clue is a number enclosed like this: (5), which tells you how many letters are in the word you're looking for.
Here is an example!
"Collect donkey emblem without its tail (8)"The answer for this clue is ASSEMBLE. A short synonym for donkey is ass and emblem without its tail or without its last letter is emble. Combining the two, we get assemble which has a similar definition as Collect.
